At 1st Class Tuition Centre, we use variety of tried and tested tutoring methods and materials to prepare students for the 11 Plus Examination for State Grammar Schools and Common Entrance examination for top independent and public schools.
Our team of experienced educators, parents and tutors have developed methodologies focusing on a traditional and logical step-by-step approach to teaching. The success achieved by our pupils has lead to a substantial demand for the centre’s tutoring service and practices.
We have collectively designed a number of test papers which are very similar to the ones students will be taking for their actual exams. These are provided to students free of charge.

Education Assessment
1st Class Tuition centre also provides mock assessments which are very similar to the actual examination to encourage student to experience a first classexamination environment prior to the school exams.
At the end of each mock assessment, comprehensive feedback is given to the parents to enable us identify areas we need to focus on for each child in order to be successful.
The parents (with real life experience of 11 plus) in our team are geared to continuously provide emotional support for the parents and students through our the 11 plus journey..
DATES for the assessment : Every Saturday at the Centre
CONTENT: A comprehensive series of assessment tests in Verbal reasoning, Non Verbal Reasoning, CEM, Maths and English followed by a consultation with parent and child by a teacher.
WHO IS IT FOR? All pupils who plan to join 1st Class Tuition Centre 11+ course. The assessment is to establish a valid and honest opinion of the child’s present position.
